I really enjoyed reading about the kids without buying power but especially the grannies with muscles that I aspire to be later in my life. I missed the festival this year but I’ll be there next year.

I lived in Tucson from 2009 to 2017. Thanks for the laughs! Your love for people shines through.

Thank you for reading! And for laughing.

For the 3rd time I had inadequately prepared for the Tucson Festival of Books. I studied the list of workshops for weeks, but had more authors I wanted to hear than time.

I need more time between presentations to slowly peruse the booths.

I arrived early. Stayed to the end.

I have not own a poetry book since high school, yet my current work in progress includes a poem/lyric in each chapter.

If I had seen your tree shirts, I might have purchased one.

The Festival offers too much for a weekend and would be exhausting if it lasted any longer.

It is indeed more than anyone can take in. I was almost entirely tethered to the press table, and even from there I didn’t get enough of what I could see. Such fun, though.

Good timing on reading this. A local photographer and I will have a book ready to publish early June. I think we should talk, amigo.
